I know I’ve been horrible about updating this blog. I’ve been busy, although not with as much photography as I’d like. I’ve got a couple sessions lined up for June that I’m pretty excited about, and I’m eager to get back into shooting.
Last weekend for the long Memorial Day weekend, we took a little vacation out to Catalina Island, about an hour off the coast of L.A. We went with some friends and stayed in their vacation house. The only bad part was the ferry ride over, on a stormy morning with really rough waters. My almost-two-year-old got seasick, all over my husband and me both. Poor kid–I felt so bad for him. Luckily our ferry ride back over at the end of the trip was MUCH smoother and there was no throwing up on that one.
The island is so beautiful, and there’s *just enough* to do that you don’t get bored, but you also don’t feel like you’re missing out if you decide to take long afternoon naps (which I may have done, oh, once or twice) or just chill out on your balcony.

Here’s the house we stayed in.
